I'm trying to test an .Net application using VSTS 2010. We have a number of winform controls that are home grown and never had accessibility implemented on them so consequently VSTS does not recognize the children contained in the control. The children include controls such as lists in a drop down or items on a grid.
I did an extensive search on the MS forum and found an example of an accessibility implementation. I tired to implement it on one of our controls but I had little success.
Has anyone on this forum successfully implemented accessibility on one of their controls? If so what did you use as an example for the implementation?
I dont think you can test individual component with Visual Studio. If your custom control inherited from original controls ans since children control are root controls, As far as I know those components hardcoded into framework, you have to test the framework for that.
