cookieless session - old session-id recorded
I am using VSTS 2008 (Test edition), I am testing a simple asp.net website which just have a ‘Default.aspx’ page with a text “Testing” and this is how my ‘web.config ’ looks like:
<sessionState mode="InProc" cookieless="true" timeout="2"/>
Every time I record a webtest, I get the below error:
1. Failed WebTest6 TestProject3 1 primary requests and 0 dependant requests failed
2. Response URL Validation The value of the ExpectedResponseUrl property 'http://localhost/WebSite/(S(sfu4s2y522la2vavuro5jb45))/Default.aspx' does not equal the actual response URL 'http://localhost/WebSite/(S(we2x0y45w3hk0ormurslyn45))/Default.aspx'. QueryString parameters were ignored.
Due to the above error, VSTS is not able to “detect any dynamic parameters to promote” and hence I cannot run my webtest because the “ cookieless sessionID” gets expired after the timeout.
Please suggest any pointers…
I googled but no luck so far…..
Re: cookieless session - old session-id recorded
create an extraction rule to extract out the dynamic variable or a custom extraction rule to extract out of the header.
Then turn your webtest into a coded webtest and modify the request url directly.
