Anyone know any groups that meet regularly in the Atlanta, GA area to discuss automated testing?
Anyone interested in starting one?
I'm very interested in linking up with some people to discuss automation in sort of a roundtable format. Not so much vendor specific stuff, but general ideas about automated testing.
Boards work great, but I always feel I get more when I can have an on going, face to face discussion.
I probably should have posted this earlier, but if anyone makes it to the AQAA meeting on the 12th, look me up. I'm tall guy that looks like Chevy Chase (why Chevy Chase and not Cary Grant ).
The directions to the AQAA meeting are here: aqaa.org
You might want to try starting it with meetup. There's a c/c++ group that just started around here and they used meetup.com. Also, maybe check yahoo groups and the good old newsgroups (google groups) for interest. Good luck.
The AQAA looks like a good group. Thanks for the link. Anyone else know of any local groups like this? I'm intersted as I just joined tisqa.org here in Raleigh. Mabye we can get a "link share/chain" thing-a-ma-bob do-hicky going
AQAA is a good group and the only one I know in Atlanta that specifically deals with QA. There is a free seminar on automated testing happening in Atlanta on May 15th that I posted to this board you might want to check out as well.
