The St. Louis Chapter of CMG will be hosting their first meeting for 2008 on February 12.

We have another full agenda of excellent speakers including two presentations by nationally recognized experts and two “show and tell” sessions by local members. This is an excellent training opportunity, whether you are a beginner or a veteran in Capacity Planning and Performance Management!

The morning session will begin with Chris Althen from MetLife providing an overview of how their organization tackles Capacity & Performance responsibilities. Then Dr. Boris Zibitsker will discuss Application of Performance Prediction to Enterprise Data Management.

The afternoon will begin with a session from local member Wayne Bell on modeling and then will feature Jonathan McCormick from VMWare to discuss Infrastructure optimization through the use of virtualization.
