About the Presentation:
Abstract: Roadmap to Automation Success
Experience has repeatedly proven that test automation requires more than a tool to succeed. Shelfware is abundant at a time when automation is becoming more and more essential to acceptable test coverage. And, with the proliferation of dynamic Web-based applications, achieving repeatability and managing maintenance has never been more difficult.
There are three critical factors that must be managed in order to guarantee success: organization, process and architecture. This session addresses these factors and outlines proven solutions for each of these three areas. Attendees will learn:
· How to position the automation organization
· How to establish a process that enables automation
· How to architect the tool implementation
