Zzz....zzz Any success stories out there?
This is one sleepy forum. Does anyone have a success story or two to post for inspiration to those who are struggling? Post it.
I'd be interested in hearing about lessons-learned - especially ones regarding practical implementation structure and effective support tools - be they JUnit, assertions, Mock Objects or home brew. What worked for you? What didn't?
How did you minimize the entanglement of test code and its intended target? What worked best to control the effects of changes to a growing unit level regression suite? The Extreme Programming book series are long on enthusiasm and theory, but really short on implementation details. Tell us what you learned to move unit testing from hopeful theory to practical application.
