C-Cover seems to be quite good
Just wanted to pass on some positive feedback about C-Cover. It's a C++ branch and condition coverage tool.
We were using Rational's Pure Coverage but were unhappy with its performance and usability. Because of this the developers would only use it when they absolutely had to.
C-Cover has proved to be intuitive - no training necessary - just a guideline document and fast.
I have received comments back from the developers about how they love to use it and use it all the time. It has been instrumental in finding some serious bugs too.
Because it became used widely by our developers we now have a much better tool for evaluating the quality of our user tests - this has led to a pretty big increase in the comprehensiveness of the unit tests.
I have also found the support from Bullseye to be extremely good too. Usually a one day turn around for a fix or information.
I know this sounds like a sales pitch but it's not - just a happy customer.
