Is PureCoerage suiteable for Java?
I'm wondering if the Rational's PureCoverage is suitable for Java apps and EJB. Is there a posibility to perform line coverage on Java code using this tool? Or maybe you are experienced with another tools?
Re: Is PureCoerage suiteable for Java?
Yes, we are currently using PureCoverage and find that it is definately the most flexible tool that we have used yet. I have not tried it with EJB, but, if it can run from the command line, it can be run through PureCoverage. Why don't you just try the tool out - evaluation licences are available, and I'm sure you'll find the tool easy to use and very helpful. PureCoverage also gives both line and method coverage, and allows drill downs into the source code to see exactly what is going on.
