Just reviewed conference programme. Out of 21 topics (Wednesday-Friday) I counted 10 directly related to management issues: 7 includes word manage* in topic and 3 more (H4, H7 and F1) reminds me of management issues.
On the other hand the conference home claims that it focuses on practical software quality techniques.

BTW ever seen book “Lessons Learned in software testing” that suppose to be collection of practical advices have the largest chapter (in terms of count of advices) “Managing the Test Project “ and it don’t include advices related to “Managing the testing group”, “Planning and testing strategy”

So test management is the most complicated or most interesting question in practice. Or it is only because they who want to write and talk on conferences are manager themselves?
