What is the PMI/PMP equivalent in QA?
I've looked around and find my different certifications, but I am looking for the "authority" on QA certification - like what PMI certification is to project management.
Can anyone shed some light? Thanks!
Re: What is the PMI/PMP equivalent in QA?
I wouldn't say there was any one "authority". In fact it seems the need for certifications is somewhat regional.
Most people I know look to the ISTQB certification. I took the Certified Software Tester (CSTE) certification because that's the one management wanted us to have. From what I've seen the ISTQB is perhaps a bit more general and requires less experiential knowledge, but either one is good.
