training and certifications in QA (career change)
I am an experienced professional in both Linux and Windows holding certs such as RHCE, CCNP, and MCSE.
I have recently started looking into QA and it seems very interesting and something I would love to pursue.
I am located in Toronto, Canada.
I wanted to get some feedback on what is the best type of training available in my city (or via e-learning) that will prepare me to put my foot in the door even as a junior QA Analyst or Software Tester.
I would prefer it if the training was geared towards achieving a specific certification.
I would also appreciate if you can tell me which are the top SQA certifications in North America at the moment.
Thank you kindly for your help!
The simplest certification you can aim for at the beginning is ISTQB. Once you have about 3 years of experience in QA, CSQA, CSTE, CSQE will be good certifications to procure.
My ASQ Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) Certification training batch is starting on July 11 2016. Details and 6 VERIFIABLE RECOMMENDATIONS for my training at www.facebook.com/PickTechnologies
