ISEB Exam am I ready?
I was just wondering if I am ready for the ISEB exam yet, so was wondering if anyone who has done it could offer there advice.
I have quite a good knowledge of testing through my current job and Uni and have read through the syllabus and taken 3 past papers (paper based so cant send on) and have got these scores 60%, 70%, 80% respectively.
Do you think I am ready to take the exam? As I get fed up with all the revising and am eager to get it out of the way.
Thank you in advance.
Re: ISEB Exam am I ready?
Depends on how confident you feel.
I did my ISEB 3 years ago, straight after graduating from university. (For part of my degree, I did a one year internship as a software developer/tester, so I had one year's of testing experience) I printed out the ISEB syllabus and crammed it all in over the weekend, I only had one sample past paper...and I passed the exam with 92%. I knew I was ready because I knew all the terms and definitions, knew the syllabus inside out. I can't remember the pass mark, think it was something like 62 or 65%. Try the past papers again (even if you know the answer, it's good practice) and see if you've learnt from the mistakes you made and can beat your scores.
