Pardon if this is a naive question, however in a Presentation an old QA Manager gave I'm pretty positive that they referenced the QA Institute (http://www.qaiworldwide.org/qai.html).
Does anyone have experience with their classes and/or their local chapters? Is this is a valuable organization in your experience?
Are there are other QA Institute type groups out there that you have had good experiences with?
I'm looking forward to 2007 and looking for a good QA Chapter near my home to get more up to speed with the ever changing landscape of QA and to potentially get myself and my employees into some classes so that we can improve our processes, etc.
Any advise is appreciate (as always)
QAI is an excellent organization and the certifications are recognized worldwide. The chapters offer the opportunity to meet other QA colleagues and share ideas, war, stories and new concepts.
