Certification for Quality of a Product
I wanted to know if there are any companies who certify a product for its Quality.
Please let me know.
Re: Certification for Quality of a Product
Every product is sold with at least an implied warranty of fitness for use as intended by the vendor. At least, almost every product, because it is hard to slip shoddy merchandise under the radar with so many people ready to broadcast that turkey over the Internet. Having said that, there are always circumstances of incompatibility with other products. That is why even in the case of a company exclusively purchasing IT solutions they should still perform appropriate testing rather than to risk finding out after deployment that a specific product mix does not work out.
Many products come with specific certifications, for example PC's that carry a MS-Windows sticker to indicate compatibility, or software that lists the different operating systems that it has been tested on, which can be regarded as a warranty. If you pay attention to product advertisements it will not take you long to answer your question, and more specifically to answer it in the context that you have in mind (but do not state).
