QA Certification in Canada, eh?
I just signed up and the intro email said I should post something right away so I wouldn't be marked as inactive, so here goes...
I have a bachelors degree in computer science and have basically been doing all of the quality assurance for a small software company for the last year. The company is trying (think baby-steps) to improve our development cycle processes, and they believe that me getting certified would be a good step for them. I also believe it would be a good step for me, looking towards a future as a contractor in the field.
I was wondering what certifications have the most value in Canada? So far I have been looking at the CSQA and the CSTE. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has any experience with QA certification up here in the Frozen North.
Thanks so much to any/all respondents.

Welcome aboard fellow Canuck!
I obtained my CSTE designation 2 years ago.
Not overly hard exam since I have been in the field for 8 years.
It did not translate into more money or a promotion but did seem to mean something to my fellow workers. Now I have that magic piece of paper to prove that I do know what I'm talking about - sometimes.
