Running Eggplant Scripts on 2 Clients Simult.
Using Eggplant, I can connect 2 client machines at the same time.
I was wondering if there was anyway to run scripts on 2 client machines simultaneously.
Re: Running Eggplant Scripts on 2 Clients Simult.
Each Eggplant license allows one script to be run at a time. As you pointed out, a script can connect to 2 (or more) systems under test at once, but the script can only do one thing at a time, so it will have to switch back and forth between systems to control more than one.
To actually run scripts against multiple machines simultaneously, you'll need multiple licenses. They can be run from a single Eggplant machine (typically, this would be done with execution-only licenses for the additional scripts, since you'll only be actively developing one at a time). If you have more questions about how this works and what you'll need for your particular situation, contact our sales department.
