What topics to Cover?
I am looking forward to attend my first experienced Interview for a QA engineer(manual). I am already familiar with all the basic Testing concepts (Thanks to my work and SQA Forums).I have referred below topics as a preparation:
2. Test Plans, Strategy
3. Test Cases, Scenarios
4. Types of Testing
5. Telecom Domain knowledge
6. A li'l basic knowledge on QTP and QC.
7. Glossary of Testing terms and real time usage of those terms.
Could anyone help me out if I missed any important topics?
Always good to go in with a good grounding in SQL knowledge. There isn't a single interview I went to where they haven't asked me to write a simple select and join statement.
Be prepare for some realtime scenarios like
the problem encountered and solved
any strategic solution you provided
how many test cases written in previous project
how many defects posted
These kind of questions not often asked in many interview's perhaps knowing might help.
Thanks for the suggestions, David and Venu
its quiet good to see that you have that amount of question.
its enough to handle interview as per me.
Or one main thing you go through your resume.
