Governaning Software Testing
I just joined Enterprise QA group in my company which will kinda 'police' the overall SDLC process if the project meets certain criteria.
I have to write up a doc oh how we will govern this, what will be the communication protocol and how will things be escalated if appropriate members don't abide by the deadlines.
Are there any references/templates that I can look at.
Your help will be immensely appreciated !
Re: Governaning Software Testing
Given the NASA definition for SQA:-
Software Quality Assurance: The function of software quality that assures that the standards, processes, and procedures are appropriate for the project and are correctly implemented.
You are looking for a SQA Plan which documents how this is to be done and what the SQA scope is, for a given program\activity\project.
There are many templates for SQA plans out there, here is one:-
There is no one size fits all, it all goes back to the word 'appropriate" in the SQA definition and this will vary from case to case.
