difference between OSSP & PDSP
I am really very confused of the difference between Organisations Standard Software Process (OSSP) abd Projects Defined Software Process (PDSP).
please help me in solving out from this
Thanks in advance.
Re: difference between OSSP & PDSP
A PDSP is a process that is defined for a project from the OSSP. Defined is maybe not the right word, the right word "Tailoring". This is the magic of CMMI, Tailoring is the how you fit the OSSP on project. Yes, there is no such thing as one size fits all. OSSP exists at the organisation level and the PDSP is defined for a specific project. For more info read SP1.1 and SP1.3 in OPD with IPM's introductory notes and SP1.1. Read the subpractices of SP1.1 as well.
Hope it helps.
