This is my first post on this forum. I have got a slight problem on my hand.
I am entrusted with the responsiblity of preparing Internal Audit Checklist for my company which should be generic in nature i.e. it should be used for different departments with some customizations.
Can you please suggest what should be included in the Internal Audit Checkist? JFYI, ours is a mid-sized company with around 150 people and this is our new endeavour.
If your question is how to design a checklist for your organization's internal audit. First, please refer to the standard of your process/system/department that you are going to audit e.g. ISO9000, CMM, or your organization procedures. And make the list based on the importance/critical point of what you are audit.
In my view, internal audit is a big thing to learn, it had better attend an internal audit training course if you've never known about it.
