End to End Testing
Can any one help me in defining End to End Testing. What is the Starting point of E2E testing? is it from the Setup or from the Operations. Does E2E Testing should include the setup testing for each E2E Test case..? Please give me some solution for this.

Re: End to End Testing
For me end to end testing covers an entire business process.
An assumption is that for an E2E test, the entire system is up and running as it would be under normal business circumstances.
The E2E test starts at the point when the process enters the company. This can be through a manual trigger (e.g. a phone call to place an order) or an automated trigger (e.g. an electronic order - at this point an integration with another system must be tested).
The E2E test follows the entire process until it is finished (e.g. the order is delivered and payment has been received).
