Has anyone heard of a software commit process called BSSOM? I deal with a company that refers to this model type.
How about something related to a telecommunication Base Station?
Based on the lack of anybody jumping in with a definitive answer and me not finding anything obvious after some web searching, I do not think you would be out of line by asking the customer what the acronym stands for - it does not appear to be an industry-wide standard and common acronym. You'd be better off knowing what they mean rather than guessing, don't you think?

I did somew searches and only found some resumes from India. All indications in the resumes was that BSSOM is some type of a Base Station. Since all of the Resumes were from India, I assume it may be a System in India.
Based on what I found on WEB, I can suppose that BSSOM refers to BSS operation and maintenence, where BSS (BASE Station System)
