Can anybody tell me the difference between SQA Review and SQA Audit?
Audit checks only for work products??
Reviews are for checking compliance in engineering process??
What are the SQA Review Activities and SQA Audit Activities....
My view of the differences is that an SQA Review is a review of the content of a work product and SQA Audit is a review of the project's adherence to process.
A SQA Review would be an Inspection or other formal review, using review checklists.
A SQA Audit would be a formal review of the project and its deliverables to ensure that the relevant processes have been followed, using an audit checklist.

SQA Review is for the Work Products - looks for the Technical content - done by the Expert of that Domain - Ensures the Product Quality
SQA audit is for the Process - looks for the Process Compliance - done by an External Independent Auditor - Ensures the Process Quality
I agree with peternairn. But SQA audit can also be done by Internal Auditors too. It is not always necessary to get id done external auditors.
A highly advanced bug is indistinguishable from a feature.
can u explain the review process
