Do you have any ideas or suggestion for advancing a software testing process
within or possibly even out of New Zealand? We have designed a process that
we believe would aid organisations in being able to establish an efficient
and standardised means that will contribute towards Quality Assured testing outcomes.
We have used our in depth knowledge and experience from past projects
ranging from new developments/package delivery and enhancement/maintenance
to draw upon to document and refine how we believe the best results can be
achieved in the form of Quality Assured test outcomes. We have worked in
both Business Acceptance Testing and System Testing environments and have
extensive Project Management experience.
We have not been able to get our ideas to a packaged and marketable state as
we are a very small company and we do not have the continued funding
available, as we need to have work in order to do this and this in turn
diverts our attention from what we are trying to achieve.
Our ideas have been presented and endorsed by one large organisation in our
'working' format and the feedback has been very positive. We have a set of
documentation templates and instructions drafted to aid the process.
What we want to know is how do you get your first client in order to be able
to progress and refine your process without having the process to a packaged
and marketable state and in reverse how do you achieve getting the process
to a packaged and marketable point without a client to assist in paying you
to do so?
Would anyone be willing to let us work within their organisation whilst still continuing our refining of the process?
Any hints, tips, information recommended sites or contacts or general
interest in assisting us achieve our goals would be welcome.
