Firefox fails to launch ("Firefox has stopped working") with Selenium 2.53.2
When I launch Firefox using:
The browser launches, then instantly displays the popup saying "Firefox has stopped working".
This was working previously, the only change I made was that I stopped allowing popups to be displayed in Firefox (but changing this back didn't resolve the problem).
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, but that also didn't help, it only works if I launch the browser manually.
If on linux, common problem you need to configure the frame buffer or xvid setup.
If on windows/mac, most likely you might have a version of firefox too new, it's good to just use 1 version older. On newer versions of firefox, you'll want to setup Marionette. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/...ette/WebDriver
Although the firefox driver still works the old way too, it will eventually switch to the chromedriver model and the marienette driver will become the proper way.
