Selenium Grid Nodes and Session 0 Isolation (Windows)
I know one of the answers in the past was to set autologin and have the nodes start after but I was wondering if anything has changed to make this possible without storing passwords on the machine (with autologin)
1) If Selenium Node is started on startup it goes into Session 0 which doesn't allow a user logged in to see the test running and also has issues with screen shots
For Firefox and Chrome, and Edge, because they have Selenium hooks in the browser itself. What you can do is run windows with a locked screensaver (but no autologout) and have somewhat of the same effect.
For browsers like older versions of IE that does not have direct hooks into the browsers, you'll get actions that use JS injection working, but actions that uses windows IME to send UI events to the components, will probably not work while the computer is locked/in screen saver.
