Most sought after skills for Webdriver - Java? Ruby? C#......
I wonder what people feel is the most sought after skills for programming language for bindings to WebDriver currently in the UK? I only have exposure to Java (JUnit & Maven) and want to increase my skills. I would expect learning C# would be a good path to go down as it has lots of similarities to Java as another OOP language.
However, I quite fancy learning either Ruby or Python. Most of my work will come via Digital Media organisations and/or bigger commercial beasts who might favour Java or C# if they are a .Net house.
Any thoughts on which is the best way to go to become a more attractive player on the market?
Programming languages are extremely easy to learn once you learn the first. I would recommend following the webdev trends and see what languages are being used by the popular frameworks in your area. This will allow you to write tests that integrate well with their projects.
