New Selenium core project framework with templates
When a began working with Selenium I immediately noticed a need for a reusable template I could depend on to begin creating tests quickly without building the underlying framework. I have been working on a Selenium WebDriver suite I can share with the public to assist people in learning to create a reusable suite for practically any project, while providing page and test class templates. It includes a supplemental application you can run the project against.
The following include features of this project:
- Operating system independent
- Java using jUnit, Maven
- Page model and loadable component class design
- DriverManager class containing local, BrowserStack, and SauceConnect configurations
- Screenshots by AShot
- Web reports via Allure
The project consists of two Git repos; the selenium_core project, and a web application developed with Rails, Foundation, and PostgreSQL. The application can run locally, or if you don't want local database access it's available via Heroku 24/7.
We are looking for selenium trainers who have around 3 to 4 yrs of experience. They can take the classes for our professionals on weekdays/weekends in Chennai.
Refer your friends if anyone is interested to take up the classes.
Thanks for the post. Could I get to know know how to get the framework. Thanks.
