Automatization for Mobile native applications
I have pretty much experience with desktop & web automated testing ( testcomplete, testpartner, selenium) but right now I'd like to start with testing mobile applications
Well, this is a new world for me so , need to learn a lot :-)
Anyway, I took a look at Appium and make some test with it ( locally and on SauceLabs) .Both stuff look fine for me , i can use selenium syntax and , also very important, i don't are about emulators because they are on the cloud?
What do You think, is it a good solution?
I didnt tried with iOS for now but guess is the same as Android?
I did some Mobile automation using Selenium, Appium and Perfecto-UFT.
I suggest to go for real devices on the cloud rather than Emulator where lot of real time problems will not be occurred in emulators as per mobile manual testers I heard. Also we have lot of vendors nowadays providing cloud devices to connect with.
Better to go with Emulator for Development and real devices for Execution.

Thank/Like to help others if my input helped you !!!
I am speaking for myself, not for my employer nor any one. Automation Ecstasy
when doing tool evaluation, we needed a tool that would run on real devices in house. we found Appium was difficult to set up and Perfecto is too expensive. we found a happy medium with SeeTest. it is easy to setup and the same test script works on both Android and iOS
