I keep seeing XML that looks as if it is holding together a Selenium Project. I think that the editor is Eclipse.
The XML shape looks something like:

That's a maven POM file. It basically says download these dependencies from the Maven public repo. The basic idea is you don't need check in all your jar dependencies and class paths into your repo. That XML file describes all the dependencies for you. So someoen doing 'maven build', it will automatically download all the libraries in that are required, and set the class paths accordingly.

Either I am getting an overview or it just made me confused and frustrated. I will find out later when I try a different strategy.
