Selenium Webdriver with quality center Integration.
How to integrate Selenium Webdriver with quality center?
Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks and Regards
This is a long shot, but you might want to look up someone working at Cars.com.
I heard a speech by one of their lead SDETs about how they used Jenkins(Hudson)/Quality Center/ Java/Maven/Selenium setup. They didn't go into the specifics into how it worked, just an overview of their testing architecture. If you can get a hold of one of their engineers, maybe they can help you with the gritty details.
The concept however is pretty simple. Java/Maven tests (using Selenium) will produce JUnit results. There's a Jenkins/QC plugin https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/...+Center+Plugin, for getting the results back to QC. The missing step is how to associate tests run with their specific test cases and their test run.

It was nice and it was very useful for me as well as useful for selenium learners.thanks for providing this valuable information.
Use the VAPI-XP test type that will let you feed in a command line call to drive your selenium test. Used the QC api to extract test steps and data then at the end post results. All while keeping the run interface and such of QC. That's how we did it.

Agreed. You haved to used vapi-xp test.you can convert your manual test to vapi-xp test.Since you are using selenium webdriver you can choose python script in ALM.In that case you case use selenium python bindings to create your own tests, log reports and send mails using ALM OTA objects.
