Selenium hub timed out issue - pls help
Please help me in the below situation.. earliest reply is required
I need some help/info.. We are using Selenium Webdriver in one of the projects. The framework has been designed in such a way by different Dev team.. they are using 2 commands
D:\selenium>java -jar selenium-server-standalone-2.25.0.jar -role hub
D:\selenium>java -jar selenium-server-standalone-2.
25.0.jar -role node -hub http://localhost:4444/grid/register -maxSession 20 -port 5555
After these 2 commands are started, we are running the selenium webdriver scripts. but the problem here is when running any selenium test, above sessions are getting warning messages and getting timedouts.. this is stopping our selenium test execution
#2 - One more thing is we have around 20 modules and in each module say 100-200 scripts, we are looking for a solution - we need to run all the modules at a time simultaneous -- I heard of Selnium Grid concept and I am not sure how to set it up and all those things..
Earliest reply would be great
Are you getting timeout messages but your tests are still running and passing? If this is the case, you're probably forgetting to call .quit() when your test session is completed.
If this is happening during your test, you might have steps that are taking too long to complete and may need to adjust your implicit timeout. By default it's normally 30 seconds. This timeout controls when sessions are automatically killed when a command isn't received within that amount of time from each other.
Your question has the answer. 2 commands they have used is the configuration of Selenium Grid. After running these two command, check the url "http://localhost:4444" is not showing "Page cannot be displayed".
