Selenium not identifying an element. Please help.
In my application, I can add multiple selections(application component) using drag & drop method. Also, a close button (X) is provided with every selection, to close or remove that particular selection/component.
I am able to drag & drop component in the related wizard, but I am not able to close/remove that component using Selenium.
Selenium does not identify that element (X).
HTML Property of that element (X) is: <a class="remove-property" href="#" style="display: inline;">X</a>
X-Path is: //ul[@id=('query-properties')]/li/a
Selenium, neither record any property of this element nor perform the action, if properties are manually entered in the IDE or in script (Selenium RC).
I can click on X button using "clickAt" command, by providing x,y coordinates but still it throws error, "element not found" for the X-Path (which is manually provided).
Please help in this. Kindly suggest, how can I perform action on this button using Selenium.
Thanks in Advance!
Re: Selenium not identifying an element. Please help.
Try this ....
//*[contains(concat(' ', @class, ' '), 'remove-property')]";
