Selenium pros and cons
I am working for a financial firm managing their Testing. We use QTP(descriptive programming) for functional and regression testing. We have written our own functions, created classes etc etc in QTP.We test on mainly JAVA and web applications(IE)
Now my company wants to save money and put me under more strain-a good alterative rt?!
I have been reading on selenium but wanted to ask people who have already started using it if it would satisfy my testing needs.
ANY help on teh pros and cons of using selenium VS QTP in my case would be greatly appreciated.
Re: Selenium pros and cons
Selenium is for only web based applications. But if you have any JAVA client server applications, it will not work/fit.
And about pros and cons, please go through the already existing threads.
