Testing a Scripting Language
Can Anyone Suggest few Test Cases for testing a Scripting Language with has no GUI INTERFEACE BUT some Conditional Statements like IF...THEN..ELSE,While...do,etc.
Re: Testing a Scripting Language
Analyze the source code and determine the inputs required to force the code to branch conditionally. Supply the inputs and with debugger in hand, you should be able to "see" if your inputs force the branching. Of course, there is so much more to unit and unit-integration testing. A good book, practice, and a few web-searches should help bring you up to speed.
Which of the below against-the-posting-rules cross-posts did you wish for people to respond to - the new topic or the hijacked one?
