Data masking / obfuscation / anonymization
Does anyone in this group know of any (free?) tools which provide XML data obfuscation / scrambling facilities, so that I can test with productive data and in the same time assuring the data used is anonymized.
Re: Data masking / obfuscation / anonymization
Since there are no replies I suggest you to look at the XSLT (XML Style Sheet Transformation) technology. It basically transforms one XML document to another XML or HTML one based on an XSL template. As most web browsers today are XSLT compliant, you may use it to produce the result XML and you don't need any special tool.
The only drawback is that you would have to learn the XSL language. See the tutorial at W3Schools for a quick overview.
