Python and or Bash script needed

    Hello,

I looking for a simple iterative loop that will allow be to run some commands in either a for or while loop. The challenge I'm facing is I need to create unique server names. Consider the commands as Bash commands that create some instances on a target machine. I can run a series of these commands in a .sh script, but I want a more refined approach where I loop the same command and change only the servername$ with some incremented value.

create servername$ (1,2,3,4,5...150) parameter 1, parameter 2, and so on

    Thank you much in advance.

I like using shovel scripts for that, https://github.com/seomoz/shovel, it'll handle processing command line parameters and generate useful help hints (-help) for other people consuming your scripts.

Then in the python code, you can call the command line via, os.system("some_command with args")
