i am trying to generate a string at run time and execute it in macro.
In vbscript i use Execute method but when i try the same in Excel macro i get a error called sub or procedure not found.
how can we handle this ? do we have any method equivalent to vbscript exeute in VBA or macro ?
VBscript and VBA are not the same. The solution that you are looking for depends on what you are try to execut and where. If it is a vba script, then you can just call the sub or fuction. If you need to execute something that runs in the Command windows (dos) then you can can use the Shell command in VBA. If you are looking to execute SQl well then you need a connection to the database and depending on the type, "Execute" will run.
Need more info to you more?
