Test Adequacy - is it good enough, see the works of James Bach and Cem Kaner for further reference and the agile alliances forums and blogs for a refutation of the concept of good enough.
Test coverage - is what does a test or test set/suite/pack/plan/strategy/harness cover in relation to code/requirements/usecases/stories/function points/paths-threads/nodes/transactional states/data flows/data ranges ....
it is contextual and adaptive for your needs and drivers with out a firmer understanding of context little more explination can be provided.
For more information google IEEE standards, Testing Standards, SWEBOK - all claim definate definitions, all are refuted by someone in the wider test/dev/qa community.
