Can anyone recommend a requirements management tool? I am currently evaluating Rational Requisite Pro, however, I work for a very small shop and think that this might be a little to expensive to justify.
Does anyone have any suggestions on another tool that is similar, but not as expensive? I realize that I will not get as many features and that's OK.
I am looking for something to track user requirements (use cases) to functional requirements and test cases. I already have a CMS integrated and that usually takes care of all of my defect and change tracking.
Anyway, I've been doing some research and have found a tool that is fairly inexpensive (compared to Rational) called AnalystPro. I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with this tool or the company that built it. They are called GODA Software (www.analysttool.com).
I have not heard a lot about this tool and there was only a few feedback comments on the web site. I believe it is a fairly new tool, so that could be the reason.
If anyone has any suggestions/input, I would appreciate hearing them...
One you might want to investigate is Reconcile as part of Compuware's QACentre toolset. Not sure on the relative costs, but is does have the functionality you are after (plus integration with other test tools might be helpful)
Is there such a thing as a free requirements tool? I'm investingating test management, but dont have the budget for buying a tool that can track reqs to test cases - only have enough to buy the s/w for automation.
I thing there is no requirment tools which is freeware. if u know any one then let us know. This efforts will be appreciated. We too are maintaining our requirments by using requirment traciability matrix.
