b2b requirements vs. b2c requirements
Until now, I've worked only on b2b sites, where navigation and user experience requirements were subservient to functional requirements. Now I'm working on my first consumer site at a large consumer product company. I'm in the post-test-plan pre-test-cases phase where I'm writing up the requirements / test case combinations matrix(s) and I'm amazed that the norm here is to itemize every user experience (design/graphics/text) & navigation requirement and write detailed test cases for them (instead of "verify the site matches the wireframes"). Is this the norm for consumer sites?
