    I believe that http://www.abc.com/ is the correct formatting, but it's been a while. There are a whole bunch of things done to a URL behind the scenes. This should be transparent, though. Google URL Normalization.

    Also you can check it at w3.org and see if you find anything on it.

    I'm not sure what the original intent of this post was.... but both URL's work - and when I type them into a browser, I actually get redirected to http://abc.go.com/.

    So, both are right, and both are wrong at the same time [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

    Hi,

    I would think that the URL without the slash at the end is friendlier. The same URL should have been used to access a directory (or a specified file in that directory e.g. index.html). It depends on how the particular web server has been configured.
