Has anybody used Web Load 4.5 as a Regression testing tool for Black-Box Testing?
I'm working on evaluation of Web Load 4.5.
Has anybody ever user it as a Regression testing tool for Black-Box Testing? It seems that the tool has all necessary features.
Is the tool as good in real life as in demonstration?
Re: Has anybody used Web Load 4.5 as a Regression testing tool for Black-Box Testing?
Yes, I have used it as a regression testing tool for both QE and development to test their code before doing a checkin.
The web application was coded in such a way that it made GUI automated difficult at best. Got to the point where it was a waste of my time to even try.
So, in the end, you have a easy to implement, releable regression testing tool. It won't do everything a GUI automation tool will, but the trade-offs can be worth it.
In the end, analysis your situation to determine if it will work for you.
