WebLoad Vs Resource Manager
It is not clear to me - what is the difference between WebLoad and this new resource manager? I have used Webload. Any practical explanation would be helpful...
Re: WebLoad Vs Resource Manager
The Resource Manager is simply a licences manager, or an enterprise licences, depending on how you want to look at it.
So, right now, say you have just WebLoad with 2000 virtual users. Chances are, you are not always using all 2000 virtual users. With the Resource Manager, you can have multiple people all using those 2000 VS's. Thus, a load test of 1000 may be going on, while engineering is working on a performance bug and has 500 VC, while another person is writing some new scripts.
So, it is basically a way of sharing the virtual client licenses over serveral systems. It still uses WebLoad, just adds a new menu item for connecting to your Resource Manger server and requesting or freeing resources.
