Can someone in a very simple laymanís terms indicate what really is meant by the concept IPPD in the CMMI Model.

Yes..but for me Integrated Project Management as a concept is a little tricky to understand. May be one need to have actual implementation experience to better appreciate this IPPD concept.
What is it that is confusing to you? Perhaps if you tell us what is the stumbling block someone can help you clear up the details.

What I am not very clear is - What is being Integrated under IPPD and what's the expected output.
I don't have experience with CMMI, perhaps someone who has gone through this can add more, have you asked locally of anyone familiar with the process?
