I have to prepare Test Strategy for SOA Environment. Rather high level document which will describe main organisational and technical assumption for organizing test in SOA Environment. It is conected to SOA migration project. Of course this migration will be divided into stages and phases and also tests have to be organised in the way aproproiate to current SOA maturity level.
Have you any experience in testing (from the technical and organizational perspective) in SOA environment. What is important, where I have to expect difficulties, what is supposed to be easier than in traditional environment. Is this possible to use any dedicated tools?
SOA is buzzword (IMO). So please give some more info:
-do you migrate from something supposed not-SOA to something called SOA? What is the current architecture/environment in this case? Does migration suppose adding new functionality, improving data integration quality or responsiveness?
In any case I believe you should expect all the difficulties of migration, not the difficulties of what you call traditional environment...
