I often been asked "What software QA methodologies you have used or familiar with?"
I have done V&V projects, created documentation, funcational tests, performance test, automated test and testscripts.
Is CMM kind of a software QA methodology? What if company used homegrown methodology based on CMM4?
Any good pointers to RUP on the web?
Are these questiins that you get asked during an interview?
I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work" --Thomas Edison
Yes, always! I am sure in my jobs/projects I must have followed one or other, but I just don't know which one.
You might want to do a search on interviews to see the type of response that people get when they ask for answers to interview questions.
We do not provide answers for interviews.
If you do not know - then that is your interview answer - do not use information that you cannot back-up.

QA methodologies cover SDLC,QA,QC, ISO standards,6 sigma and CMM. Could anyone explain all these with real time scenarios.
Thanks in advance
Latha - those questions are the subjects of more than one book. I suggest a trip to the local book store or library.
