Quality control is for stuff like beer or juice or waffles
with software you cant really pull off a glass and taste it and grade its quality. You have to mess with it and poke it to understand it and then grade your understanding of it. this would be Quality assurance. You are assuring the customer has the highest quality sw, not just giving it a nubmer from one to ten and moving on.

Thanks for the laugh. My "expert advice" to their "expert" is to keep on thumbing for a ride. With bonehead explanations like that one that person will always be on the road to nowehere and needing a ride.
