System Requirements - QA Definitions for Supported/Tested/Certified
I am looking to see if anyone has run into any challenges with ensuring everyone is on the same page for QA Definitions as they relate to System Requirements. Using a web based application, these System Requirements could include O/S, Application Servers, Databases, Browsers, etc...
Assume the line item reads Product X - Version 3.3 or higher
Tested is defined the specific software version under test - from above Version 3.3
Supported is defined as versions that may or may not have been formally tested but the software vendor agrees to address to any issues - from above or Higher
Certification requires a formal test plan & once the plan has been successfully - Product X has been certified to the Software Vendors standard (assuming no model is followed).
