General question - ISO audits NC and root causes
Post ISO 9001 QMS audits, there is a standard process of conducting root cause analysis, corrective actions etc for the external audit Non conformities.
I really wish to understand how to take forward things when the causes are special cases or arising due to hopelessly wrong situations.
e.g. What kind of root cause is applicable and reportable, imagine if a very poor person who does not have money is caught travelling without ticket in a bus or train?
Last year we have recovered from recession and the entire focus of the company was survival. Very little attention was given to effective implementation of QMS and now we have bunch of findings in the external audit. I am wondering what will be applicable root cause analysis that can be reported and truly effective here.
Any thoughts, suggestions, views would be useful.
